The Potters House is an artists community in Warrington, Cheshire, comprising galleries, studios and gardens. It was started in 1977 by Alan and Geraldine Snape to showcase Alan's ceramic art, and has since grown to include Geraldines paintings and the work of other local artists.
Tutoring is available in drawing, painting, art history, and basic pottery techniques such as coiling, slabwork and modelling. Classes are suitable for all levels, from beginner to advanced, with pottery sessions and demonstrations for schoolchildren also available by special arrangement.
Opening hours:
10.00am - 4.00pm on Mondays and Tuesdays.
